Question about Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Flex Mini

Need a switch to operate 4 internet lines. The switch itself cannot be operated with a power supply unit. I need power for the switch, but not necessarily for the 4 outgoing lines. Is this the right product for me?

Yes, it should work. If the modem has any LAN ports with PoE at all, that is rather rare.

This switch is supplied with power either via the USB-C connection. Or via PoE over a network cable, e.g. a switch with PoE power supply at the ports.
Outgoing LAN lines usually have no power supply. Unless the device supplies power to other devices (e.g. cameras) via PoE.
