The following requirement: I have a LAN connection in the room. I would now like to connect both the TV and a WLAN repeater to this LAN connection in the room: 1) can the Logilink splitter be used here? 2) Can both end devices be in use at the same time?

No, several units cannot be in operation at the same time. You need a switch. For example, this one:
