The router description says "RouterOS v6 1792MB ECC / RouterOS v7 4GB ECC". Are there different models with different OS and RAM size or does this mean the max. size of the RAM in the respective OS? If the router is delivered with OS v6, are the updates e.g. to v7.1 then free of charge? Many thanks for clarifying answers!

Hello, yes, the RAM is OS-dependent. I don't know why that is, but after the update you have 4GB.
Attention, at my last update V7 was not yet stable but under testing, this as a hint. However, this may have already changed.

The updates are free, at least at the time I did the last update.
