Using ....Nighthawk (5G, WiFi 6) as a product name is rather unsuitable. In this case, 5G probably stands for the maximum Ethernet port speed of 5Gbit/s. This has nothing to do with telephone communication standards or other generations. This has nothing to do with telephone communication standards or other generations. Or is this the Nighthawk in the 5th generation?

In the context of wireless routers, 5G stands for 5Ghz. The device can operate on the 'normal' 2.4 Ghz frequency or on 5 Ghz. The latter is faster, but the range is not as good as with 2.4 Ghz. This router can do both...
