Wow, that's a steep price! If anyone has it, I would be interested in real performance data. Up-/Download and especially latency/ping with provider. For the price, it should be pretty good.

Well, try connecting a mobile phone to a network at home and covering the whole house....

I see it as a substitute for a DSL line, because my phone line is too old for higher speeds. I get 300-400mbit with the 5G mobile at the window. So cancel the landline and since the mobile phone subscription has a 2nd data sim anyway, the costs are already recovered within a year and even higher speed.
In addition, this router can also be operated with a mains plug without a battery.

e.g. instead of conventional access via cable/fibre and router at the hotspot with many end devices. This is where the smartphone reaches its limits.

it's cheaper to take a 300chf 5g mobile phone and use it as a hotspot instead of one of those things....

With an iPhone, a hotspot with 5G is already available and easy to use. Why should I buy such an expensive additional device?

I'm also doing the trick with the mobile phone now. I'm on the Internet via my mobile phone using USB tethering.... Charge the phone and share the internet at the same time. What's the point of a hotspot anyway?
