The first volume of "Microcosmic Landscapes" centers around the illustration of the Nei Jing Tu. The map of the inner tissue Nei Jing Tu is a visual representation of a meditation from the Daoist alchemy of the Neidan tradition. The human body is here meticulously modeled after the macrocosm. Furthermore, the eight extraordinary vessels and their pathology are described in detail, translated from many classical texts. The points of Du Mai and Ren Mai are extracted from numerous Chinese sources and presented in detail along with their classical indications.
