With Swiss Performance, the editorial team of archithese presents at the beginning of each year groundbreaking or controversial buildings that have been realised in Switzerland or by Swiss women architects worldwide in the last twelve months. The aim is not only to present the works by means of text, images and plans, but also to classify them, to explore their meta-levels and sub-contexts - in short, to provide comprehensive architectural critiques: Are there new or even established topics that need to be taken up and discussed? In addition to the "old hands", we also show convincing designs by young offices. This turns the review into an outlook. Look forward to more than a dozen fresh projects.
