The rain sensor RS reports rain to the downstream sensor relay LRW12D. A standard telephone cable J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0.8 or equivalent is sufficient as the connection line. The permissible cable length is 100 m. It features a compact plastic housing with dimensions of 118x96x77 mm, protection class IP44, and an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +50 °C. A power supply SNT61-230V/24V DC or SNT12-230V/24V DC is required for the power supply, including heating of the rain sensor (1.2 W). An LED lights up green when power is supplied and yellow when it detects rain.
