I had the same problem with two Dreame teats and have now given them all back.
As far as I know, the robot cleans in exactly the same mode as the last pass when this button is pressed. Therefore, start once via app as desired, then it should work.

The trandparent dust container in the robot is clogged. This sometimes happens with cat hair or large pieces of fluff, for example. The base station is then unable to vacuum this clean.
