It consists of several components: the classic 6-millimeter thick steel chain, the swan neck, the foam cover, and a casing made of plastic fibers. The steel chain, as well as the housing and supporting parts of the locking mechanism, are made from specially hardened steel. The term "swan neck" refers to a metal tube that ensures the lock's shape stability, allowing it to be bent into the desired shape and tightly wrapped around the bicycle frame.
