The low weight of the Carapax 2.0 is achieved through Inmold manufacturing, where the outer shell is thermally bonded with the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface connection that is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell called Edge Protect. Thanks to the Seamless Connection, it fits seamlessly against the outer shell.
