The new Shimano Acera RD-T3000 has been completely redesigned and now follows in the footsteps of high-end component groups. Although it is aimed at the entry-level market, it benefits from top technology that has been developed over the years. Key innovations of the Shimano Acera RD-T3000 include a clear separation into a new MTB group and targeted use for developed groups for trekking. It features a long cage and is made of aluminum. To enhance the durability of the 9-speed derailleur, the Shadow technology provides better protection. Cassettes with up to 34 teeth can be used with this derailleur. Durability and stiffness are further increased by the Wide Link design.
