With the M8000, Shimano has revamped its outstanding XT group and, like the XTR, features an 11-speed drivetrain that excels across an incredibly wide range of applications. The teeth of the dual chainrings are equipped with Shimano's new Dynamic Chain Engagement (DCE) technology, ensuring optimal chain guidance—both in terms of guiding the chain during crank rotation and retaining the chain on the chainring in rough terrain. The risk of the chain dropping is thus further minimized.
