OT-SP41 Outer Housing

The OT-SP41 is the outer housing that is pre-lubricated along its entire length with a special silicone lubricant to enable quick, precise shifting. The OT-SP41 minimizes friction losses of the inner cable to an absolute minimum, allowing for fast response and effortless operation of the shifting system. The rider benefits from the elimination of shifting delays and high effort during gear changes, especially in terrain that requires frequent shifting or on long distances.

Polymer-Coated Inner Cables

The secret lies in a polymer coating that, under a microscope, resembles tubes wrapped around the cable. This reduces the surface area that rubs against the inner housing. Additionally, grease is retained for a longer period. The main advantages are significantly less effort required for shifting and the sensation of quicker gear changes.
