This is a brand new derailleur specifically designed and optimized to work with a motor rather than a cable. The AXS™ components allow for precise customization and maintenance of the system through the AXS™ app, tailored to the preferences of each rider. Its shortened fork head provides an additional 10 mm of clearance between the derailleur and the ground, enabling better chain wrap on the cassette. It can be fixed more inward and forward than a mechanical Eagle™ derailleur. The Eagle AXS™ derailleur is smart enough to protect itself with its extremely strong overload clutch function. In the event of a collision, the motor drive disengages, allowing the derailleur to move freely before immediately returning to its position without the rider noticing. The system is waterproof and dustproof to IP69K standards, allowing you to ride through streams and mud puddles and perform high-pressure cleaning after each ride.
