The taps are made from high-quality, oil-hardened material that boasts high wear resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 200°C. With a ground thread profile of 60° and three straight flutes, these hand taps are particularly suitable for materials that produce short to medium-length chips. The set includes three taps: a roughing tap, an intermediate tap, and a finishing tap, all designed for the most common metric threads according to ISO DIN-13 in the basic class. These taps are ideal for machining internal threads with standard tolerances according to ISO2 (6H).
