C-clamps are used when high clamping forces are required with as uniform clamping widths as possible, primarily in metal and steel construction. The C-clamp is considered the original form of the clamping tool. Various materials have been used in its production, including earlier versions made of pure wood. Today, models with forged arms and VC clamps in proven BESSEY all-steel quality are available on the market. The special feature of the VC clamp is that its arm is made from original BESSEY profile steel produced in-house, tempered, and electro-galvanized. This results in significantly higher tensile strength compared to cast versions.

Clamping tools are not suitable for lifting, pulling, or transporting. Clamping tools should only be tightened by hand without additional aids. Improper use can cause personal or material damage. Never modify or alter clamping tools; use them only in their original condition. Only use original spare parts if needed.
