The ground HSS-TiN twist drill achieves maximum service life when drilling metal. When using a suitable cooling system, friction and wear are as low as possible due to the titanium nitride trim. The high surface quality of this ground HSS twist drill ensures extended usability. It is suitable for alloyed and unalloyed steel, malleable cast iron, cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, copper, bronze and hard plastics such as Plexiglas. The HSS-TiN twist drill is manufactured according to DIN 338. It belongs to the drill type N (small side rake angle) with drill point 135 degrees and diameter tolerance h8. The drill point with cross-grinding enables active drill approach and perfect centring without wandering. Not suitable for aluminium. Use only with coolant.
