The T 1018 AFP Precision metal sandwich jigsaw blade is break-resistant, designed for precise, clean straight cuts in metal. The increased thickness of the blade prevents bending and allows for accurate, angle-holding cuts, while the milled, wavy teeth are specifically designed for cutting metal sandwich panels. The tooth strip made of hardened HSS (high-speed steel) and BIM (bimetal) is reinforced with highly elastic carbon steel, reducing the risk of breakage. It offers both sufficient strength and the necessary flexibility to cut metal sandwich panels. The blade features a very fine tooth pitch (1.1 mm) and an especially large length (250 mm) to cut sandwich materials up to 160 mm thick. It is intended for use with jigsaws with a T-shank holder.
