Application:
Drill the damaged thread with a spiral drill. The hole is then countersunk and deburred with a 90° countersink.

Thread:
The tap is used to cut the receiving thread into the drilled hole. The use of cutting oil is recommended.

Installation of the thread insert:
Insert the appropriate thread insert with the drive pin into the groove of the insertion tool and secure the adjusting ring.

Screwing in the thread insert:
Screw the insert in the direction of the thread.

Pin breaker:
Remove the insertion tool and use the pin breaker to remove the drive pin.

New thread:
The new thread has the exact size of the original thread.

Load capacity:
The repaired or renewed thread is more load-bearing than the original thread due to the spring thread insert.
