Product details

The WS-Bormax 2.0 center drill features a cutting geometry with two offset main cutting edges and a serrated peripheral cutting edge with longitudinal grooves. This design significantly reduces feed forces and minimizes friction and heat generation. The hexagonal shank enhances power transmission and allows for fast drilling in softwood, European hardwood, particle board, MDF, and more. It offers very rapid removal of solid wood and particle board with considerably lower feed forces and faster drilling compared to conventional Forstner drills.
