The compact switch socket allows for convenient control of connected devices via radio, while simultaneously capturing, analyzing, and linking energy consumption data from the connected device. For example, electric heaters can be integrated into the Homematic IP room climate solution and controlled through the system's electronic wall thermostat. The power consumption and energy usage of the connected device are recorded and can be analyzed via the Homematic IP smartphone app. Thanks to its compact design, which simply plugs into a standard outlet, the switch socket does not block any switches or additional sockets in multiple combinations, allowing it to blend seamlessly into your smart home.

Maximum switching power (resistive load) is 13 A/3000 W. It can accurately measure and evaluate the energy consumption of connected devices, with a power measurement range of 0 to 3680 W and a resolution of 0.01 W. Precise room temperature control with electric heating devices in conjunction with the Homematic IP wall thermostat is possible. Voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is available (Homematic IP Access Point required). Manual switching directly on the device is also possible. It has a very low standby power consumption (< 0.3 W). Suitable for use in dry rooms (protection class IP20). It can be used within the Homematic IP system with an access point as a repeater. A Homematic IP Access Point or the Smart Home Central CCU3 is required for operation. The operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with a free smartphone app and free cloud service, Smart Home Central CCU3 with a local user interface WebUI, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, or partner solutions from third parties.
