They are delivered factory-sharpened with a cutting angle of 25 degrees, making them ready for use. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. It is advisable to hone the blade again before use with a sharpening stone. The blade should be regularly wiped with an oily cloth to prevent rust formation.
