Its flower buds form in winter and slowly open as spring approaches. Camellia Lady Campbell is a beautiful red, double-flowering camellia that blooms profusely. Care
This camellia has a compact and upright growth habit and prefers shade or partial shade in slightly acidic, well-drained, preferably humus-rich soil. In summer, it is important to keep the soil around the plant well-moistened. Over time, the plant will grow into a large shrub, but several plants can also be combined to form a large shrub. Additionally, the camellia does not grow very quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. Therefore, it is not necessary to regularly prune the plant, especially in the beginning. However, it is important to remove faded branches and spent flowers.
