The drill bit is made of extra hardened steel with a titanium coating, making it extremely hard and additionally resistant to rust, acid, and heat. The surface is polished to a shine. The tip is ground to 118°, allowing for precise starting of the hole. The drill channel is designed with a pitch of 25°-30°, which also helps to remove chips when working with thicker components.
