The carbide-coated drill bit including mandrel and centring drill bit is especially suitable for drilling holes with a drill in masonry and stone (e.g. pumice stone, aerated concrete or similar soft and medium-hard types of stone). With a possible cutting depth of 55 mm and a diameter of 68 mm, it is ideal for setting flush-mounted sockets for socket or switch inserts. In combination with the separate mandrel (Art. 3862000), the core bit is also suitable for deep holes and breakthrough holes. It can be quickly locked in the chuck of your drill using the hexagonal shank. A centring drill bit (Ø 8 mm) makes it easier for you to position your drill hole precisely.
