Hello, I am thinking about buying an Oral-B electric toothbrush and I am mainly hesitating between the iO 6, iO 9, and iO 10. At first glance, I feel that the iO 6 is the best compromise: it already has the iO technology, the pressure sensor, several brushing modes, app tracking, etc. The iO 9 and 10 obviously offer more features (more advanced tracking, additional modes, color screen, smart charger on the iO 10, etc.), but I wonder if these features really provide significant added value on a daily basis in terms of brushing efficiency, given the price difference. For those who have been able to compare or use several models: do you find that the iO 9/10 really justify their extra cost, or is the iO 6 in your opinion the true "sweet spot" of the range? Obviously, if budget is not a criterion, I can understand going straight for an iO 9 or 10. I asked a question about this weeks ago, but never got an answer. Let's see if there is more going on here: My problem. I've been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for years. But they all suffer in the same place: The toothbrush is good and cleans thoroughly. But the rechargeable battery is a disaster. On the one hand, the runtime is much lower than stated, On the other hand, the batteries break down far too quickly. And there are no replacement batteries - which means throwing them away after a maximum of 18 months. I find it tragic that such expensive devices have to be thrown away after so little time because of the battery. And my toothbrushes cost between 170 and 240 francs. Oral B is uneconomical and unecological. QUESTION: Does anyone know of an electric toothbrush that has a battery life of more than 2 years? Or replaceable batteries? I'm looking forward to hearing your answers, thank you.

Does anyone know an overview of the Philips Sonicare models? I find it very confusing and can't get my head round it. What is the difference between the various series such as 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 and 9000? I realise that presumably the higher the number, the more "features" a model has. There is also a variety of models within the series, such as 5100, 5300, etc.

I'm looking for a toothbrush that doesn't violate my privacy and should still work after years. Apps have problems with this all the time, suddenly no longer in the App Store, servers shut down, incompatible, etc. A mere Bluetooth connection to the brush, without cloud and advertising in the app, would still be halfway acceptable. Does anyone have such a product or experience with it?

Braun and Oral B are listed as two different brands. One could therefore also split Apple and Iphone. Or you could just hire people who have a bit of general technical knowledge or hire people who just don't give a fart about their job.
