L'Oréal's answer to my constant struggle with eyeliner seems almost too simple to be true: a wing stencil. This piece of plastic with a cutout is supposed to help me with my make-up. Is it a game changer?
Unfortunately, my left and right eyeliner aren’t always like identical twins. Quite often, when I apply my make-up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, they turn out looking more like cousins. Especially the wing – that’s the curved end at the outer corner of the eye – requires patience and a steady hand. The smudge-free and waterproof «Flash Cat Eye» felt tip eyeliner by L'Oréal is supposed to give my fine motor skills a little something extra. It comes with a removable stencil that’s attached to the lid. This stencil is designed to help me get my winged liner to look as similar as possible on both sides. I’ve put it to the test.
