The 483 mm (19”) IP55 outdoor wall enclosures are designed for industrial applications. They are based on the IP55 protection class, compliant with EN 60529, and are thus protected against water and dust ingress. The enclosures offer optimal performance, among other features, through a 3-point locking system with a lockable swivel handle and insulated cable entries. Integrated ventilation filter housings ensure fresh air intake (protection against water and dust ingress according to IP54). Application areas include outdoor environments exposed to environmental effects (rain, dust, hail, snow, splashing water). The wall enclosures can be used with a base as a freestanding solution (the rear mounting holes are sealed with plugs, which are removed when installing the base).
