The iStorage diskAshur2 hard drive features an easy-to-use keypad that allows you to access the drive with a 7- or 15-digit PIN. No software is required for the setup and operation of the diskAshur2, and it works with all operating systems. It is compatible with all versions of MS Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, Thin Clients, Zero Clients, and embedded systems. This portable hard drive offers USB 3.1 encryption that is FIPS PUB 197 compliant. PINs and encryption keys are always encrypted in idle mode. The AES-XTS-256-bit hardware encryption does not require software and operates independently of the operating system and platform. The diskAshur2 is tamper-proof and features a DeskLock slot. Unlike other solutions, the diskAshur2 puts the system into lockdown during an automated attack, making it impervious to threats.
