If you want to print, you can select the profile "B & W Documents". I have two use cases for which I have created two printer profiles. Profile 1: Landscape and B&W Profile 2: Portrait and B&W Only when switching to these profiles the colour and orientation is not changed, I suspect an error in the Canon driver and I still have to place a support request with Canon.

This is a MFG. I do not carry out an eff. cost calculation as requested. For me, the features/convenience for all users in the home network are in the foreground, such as full duplex, also scan, merge documents, scan area/section, enlarge, auto-feed, OCR, etc. Also direct print for WLAN users. I save many scans without printing. The print quantities are relatively small (home use), so the print costs/sheet are not so crucial for my applications. I have not set up the FAX application.

Question 1: Log in as system manager via web browser on the device. (default user and ID are "7654321"). Here are Canon's instructions for setting up the mail server: http://ug.oipsrv.net/USRMA-2049... Then you can define e-mail destinations in the address book. Note that some providers (e.g. Swisscom) redirect the communication via port 25 to a proxy. Here you have to work via port 587 otherwise you won't reach the server. I can't tell you the exact GSuite settings because I don't work with it. But you will probably already have them. Question 2: In the address book you can define file destinations as well as e-mail destinations. This is actually self-explanatory. - Enter name - Select the protocol "Windows (SMB) - Enter the host name of the server. Preferably FQDN. - Define folder path -> Syntax: SHARENAME\FOLDERNAME - Enter authentication information Hope this helps a little.

Hello, I can confirm that the scanner window was without foil when I unpacked it (unlike HP, for example), and double-sided scanning also works perfectly via ADF.
