Hi I have an UltraSharp U2719D, but they are now a lot more expensive than they used to be, so I wonder if the extra cost of almost 300.- for this monitor is worth it. Of course, the question is for what you need the monitor, I would say office/office in the CAD area and partly graphics. Since I have a U2719D and mostly switch to the Mac for graphics stuff anyway, this is not absolutely necessary for the new one, but logically cool if the difference is not exactly day/night.

I received my monitor in the post yesterday and the energy label "E" was already visible on the packaging. When I opened the packaging afterwards, there was also an energy seal with the letter "E" in a plastic bag (where all the instructions etc. are). On the official DELL website, as well as here at digitec and at brack, the letter "A+" is on the seal. To be honest, I'm a little confused about this and would therefore be glad if someone could enlighten me. However, the product name on the packaging is correct. So it can't be a false monitor.

Can the current Mac Book Pro be connected to this display?

In principle, a MacBook Pro can be connected with an appropriate cable.
However, I recommend the P2720DC with USB-C connection. The MacBook Pro can be charged at the same time via USB-C.
This is very practical because you don't have to connect the MacBook Pro to the power supply.
