I use the device exclusively abroad as a router with the SIM card of the country. A normal SIM also works.
Hello,I can't say exactly.I always use the fast charger on my Huawei phone.
I am also very interested in this... and which 5785-...? is the black one above for CHF 163 ? My main concern is that the router has external antenna connection and the possibility to change the battery.
The only difference is the colour of the casing.
There are 2 antenna connections
This is possible because the connected devices are in the same IP range and can communicate with each other. Just bear in mind that the WLAN range is not really large and if several devices use the router at the same time, it can happen that communication suddenly becomes slow. I have been using this device from Huawei for a long time and am basically satisfied with it. When I use it intensively, I sometimes have to switch it off and on again. A WLAN router with an external WLAN antenna would probably be a better choice for you, especially if you have a large hut.
Hi Yobitcoin, the B525S-23A has no rj-45 socket. Check out this model instead: Huawei E5885LS-93A Huawei E5885LS-93A it's the only portable model with an rj-45...affordable.
Hello, it depends a lot on your usage habits, so it's hard to say, because for each person the amount of data can be very different. Packages can also differ from one country to another and there can be surprises. I've bought packages with a lot of data on the surface, but with limited area or services allowed. What I can advise you to do if you are using a mobile hotspot is to disable the background sync services (e.g. photos) in your phone as they will use your mobile data unnecessarily. Wait until you are on a fixed wifi (hotel or other) to reactivate them. Also be careful with data-intensive applications and services (video, etc.). For your information, Huawei hotspots have a mobile application that can show you in real time your consumption. Enjoy your trip!
