No idea! But my EU version works very well so far.

If the supplier allows it, you can switch on VoLTE via mobile networks. This also works for roaming data and WLAN calls. The best network is automatically selected for the network mode. This is all done in Settings, the sub-item is called Connections. Oh yes, it also works, both on my mobile and on my wife's mobile.

It's the same phone just that the wi-fi calls and Samsung pay options will not be possible with the EU version. Because Samsung blocks these devices by region for these uses.
