Hello, with this device a modem is absolutely necessary to access the Internet. The easiest way is to use the one provided by your provider and connect one of its "LAN" ports to the "WAN" port of the ArcherAX10.

You would have to set the TP Link router's web interface (accessible at tplinkwifi.net) to access point (AP mode) and adjust the WLAN access data if necessary.

I only use it as Wifi6AP There is a menu item VPN server, with a sub-item OpenVPN - here you can generate a certificate. Another sub-item is PPTP VPN for quick remote access.
