Yes, the printer comes with toners. However, I don't know what happens when the toners are empty. It hasn't happened yet.
Unfortunately, I don't have US Letter, but I tried to print over the edge with A4. The margins are 4 mm at the sides, 5 mm at the top and 3 mm at the bottom.

Yes, the display can be folded down completely... so nothing stands in the way of the scanner, even if it is a bit bigger. Regarding text printing, we are extremely satisfied with the print result - however, it is difficult to answer this question, especially with individual requirements.
There are two problems
- Many people do not know what they are legally entitled to when they buy from a Swiss trader (see below). If they do, your question is superfluous.
- Digitec employs people who occasionally make mistakes (e.g. forgetting to include a cable) although Digitec should prevent this with appropriate processes.

Digitec (or any other Swiss retailer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied.
If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.

I also have this printer. I had several problems finding the right driver but with the latest version I have no problems and I print everything double sided.
This is mentioned in the specifications under the item "May be equipped with a power adapter".
I can't say anything about Xerox regulatory requirements.
I have not activated AMR and ASR either.

I don't hear a whistling sound, not even a high-frequency one. Either I don't hear it or you have very sensitive hearing. Sitting too close to the unit is unhealthy anyway; because of ozone formation. I switch the unit on as often as possible.

You have an on-site warranty with this product, so you can register the printer as a warranty case via your customer account and then you will receive the contact details of the responsible service centre. The device will then be examined by a service technician on site and the damage will be repaired if possible. I cannot confirm the poor scan quality - for me as a private user it is more than sufficient, but I do not use the factory settings or the free Ominpage software. Competitors' devices that are available to me in the office cannot do any better.
I can't say anything about the time it takes for the print to come out of sleep mode. My machine is always completely off - about 45 seconds until the printer is fully started, and only a few seconds pass between the print command and the printout. Since I am rarely under time pressure at home, this performance is perfectly adequate. I hope this information helps you!
