Excellent NAS, very flexible (but quite complex)

The 2GB is certainly too light to run Plex Media Server, but for less than half the price difference with the 4GB model, you can buy this 16GB memory pack right here:
    - HyperX Impact (2x, 8GB, DDR3-1866, SODIMM 204) - HX318LS11IBK2/16
    Once
you upgrade, it's a real pleasure.

My goal was to be able to use it as a media player in HDMI connection with my Home-Cinema, but the path is not easy. Nevertheless, I managed to do it by installing:
    - Plex Media Server
    - Kodi Leia (Light) Media Player (in HDStation)
    - Plex Kodi Connector

    VERY IMPORTANT:
    1) HDStation must be at most v4.0.7. Newer versions introduce frame hopping!
    2) In the Kodi settings, in addition to setting the HDMI output to the AV receiver and the stream types to 'pass-through', you must absolutely disable the audio and image synchronization, otherwise pass-through will not happen!
    3) Kodi detects the audio/video settings at startup. If you turn off your AV system, the audio output settings will revert to PulseAudio => Turn on your A/V system and then restart HDstation by pressing the ad-hoc button for 6s to resume the desired settings...
