Benefits of Cat. 8.1 Technology
The Cat. 8.1 technology offers a range of improvements over previous copper-based network solutions. Data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s are often no longer sufficient. Faster fiber solutions are unsuitable for widespread use due to their high costs. Cat. 8.1 patch cables are also suitable for 25 Gbit/s and 40 Gbit/s Base-T Ethernet networks, eliminating the need to combine multiple 10 Gbit/s Base-T links into a single logical connection. This reduces the number of ports and thus space required, both of which are valuable in data centers. The maximum bandwidth has also increased to 2000 MHz / 2 GHz.

High-Quality Cable Construction
The conductors of this patch cable are made of copper (CU) and are surrounded by high-quality S/FTP shielding (PiMF). For flawless signal transmission, the RJ45 connectors are shielded and equipped with 3 µ gold-plated copper contacts. This high-quality cable construction enables optimal signal transmission and greater tensile strength of the cable.

LSZH Jacket for Enhanced Safety
