Question about TL-WPS510U - 102924

According to the installation instructions, it does NOT work with GDI printers.
by the way, after 40!!! years of experience in EDP / networking in my own software house, I have not been able to get the thing to work either.

The thing works with almost any printer. Since the Pritnserver is "only" a piece of infrastructure, it doesn't matter whether it's GDI or PCL. I only have PCL printers, so I don't have a live report.

I only carried out the installation with my printer at the time (Epson inkjet something or other) and successfully operated the print server; I tried it out at random, so to speak. Probably this is the only way to go if no one else has the same printer as you. Maybe an HP user forum can help?

I can't answer this question positively because I couldn't get the print server to work and therefore returned it.
