Black Crows from Chamonix stands for fun skis - this also applies to the rather narrow Orb Freebird. With its wide, soft shovel, it is easy to surf and floats surprisingly well in powder. However, others are better at hard turns and hard ground.
The Orb Freebird is one of the ultra-classics in Black Crows' ski line. The latest version has regained its former alpine, steep skiing character while remaining very pleasant to ride.
Like the Corvus FB, the Orb FB features a longer effective edge length. Additionally, it is slightly stiffer.
Together with the 18-meter radius and a slight weight reduction, this enhances its steep skiing capabilities, without compromising its smooth and comfortable ride.
For us, the Orb Freebird is still a highlight. It's amazing how they manage to make an already good ski even better.
