Extreme Dewalt 2 centre point enables pinpoint drilling without running off. Specially ground shoulder cutting edges mill exact, circular holes with clean edges (from Ø 4.8 mm).

It features up to 50% increased breakage stability and allows for immediate start after setting, eliminating the need for centre punching. The iron oxide alloy effectively protects against overheating.

The anti-slip shank with three milled clamping surfaces prevents the drill from spinning in the chuck (from Ø 5.0 mm). It produces circular bores with clean, almost burr-free hole edges.

Abrasion-proof size markings, placed outside the clamping area, ensure permanently good legibility (from Ø 5.0 mm).

This tool is ideal for freehand drilling in thin-walled materials, with a constantly increasing core diameter in the direction of the shank for the highest breakage stability in freehand use (from Ø 4.8 mm).

Application examples include use in alloyed and unalloyed steels up to 900 N/mm² tensile strength, drilling sheet metal and thin-walled profiled materials (as well as pipes without pre-graining) where precise and clean drilling is required. It is also very suitable for drilling wood and plastics.
