The universal screw is the ultimate all-rounder in the SPAX range. It can be driven into almost anything – for example, without the annoying pre-drilling in softwoods like spruce and pine, as well as in common wood-based panels (MDF, particle board, and OSB). Our universal screw demonstrates its superiority particularly in interior construction and furniture building, but it can also be used effectively outdoors with the appropriate corrosion protection. Thanks to its special thread geometry, the driving resistance when screwing is significantly lower than with conventional screws, which not only saves your strength and nerves but also preserves the battery life of the screwdriver used. Splitting of the wood near the edges is almost completely prevented. This means for you: You can drive in more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about split wood ends!
