Equipped with 4 SAS disks, I want to install it today, but the BIOS (and nowhere else) shows me a RAID controller. The disks are not flashing either... Am I blind? stupid? is it because I have Corona :-D ... please help

PowerEdge T430 Server with SSD instead of normal HDD?

Hello all We are running a PowerEdge T430 with a normal 6x 600 GB HDD. The HDDs are relatively slow compared to SSDs. Is it possible to simply replace the existing HDDs with SSDs without any problems? If so, which ones are recommended?

    Win10 (mini) PC as server

Hello together I am thinking about building a server (stream). https://www.digitec.ch/de... Unfortunately I can't find a ram compatibility list at Asus. Are these ok for the mainboard? Do today's I-3 processors also have a graphics chip built in or how do I see the picture without a graphics chip? Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot and have a nice day. Nymous

    Assemble your own home server

Putting together my own home server for at least 4 PCs and mobile devices. I'm mainly concerned with the mainboard, RAM and housing. In terms of software, I would probably use Windows Server. Access with user data from anywhere would be ideal. For tips and tricks, feel free to comment. Here is my wish list, which I have compiled. https://www.galaxus.ch/de... Thank you all for your informative support! Kind regards :-)

    Game Server Hosting

Good evening, If I would like to host 3-4 game servers for approx. 20 players per server (e.g. 7days to die, rust) what requirements does the server have to fulfil? I don't have any experience with servers yet and therefore I can't estimate this very well. Thanks in advance

    New acquisition server

Dear Community I need a new server for my company. Most of the employees work locally on their PCs which are connected to the server and can access the data. The ERP is installed on the server and operated by the employees via terminal server. At the same time, a maximum of 3-4 people work on the server or ERP. Otherwise, the server is only used as a data server. The data storage should be approx. 3TB. Which server would you recommend for this?

    Server for small network

I am looking for a small and reasonably powerful server that is connected to a network via LAN. The budget is 700.- max. Intended use: software distribution, software updates, installation of operating systems and drivers/driver packages on 4-10 notebooks at a time via Preboot Execution Environment (PXE). Once the notebooks are set up, new notebooks would be attached again and the process starts from the beginning. It would be good if the server was not too loud. Any recommendations? What would I have to look out for when buying? Which operating system should be installed on the server? I am happy to receive any constructive input.

    Server build

I plan to build my own server instead of always renting a server from a host. It will mainly run games and/or virtual machines. I have put together a few components. I would be more than happy for advice and suggestions for improvement.

    Mail, data and cloud servers

Hello all, I need a server on which I can synchronise my mails with Exchange, besides all my data should be visible from all devices in the network. If possible, I should also be able to access it from outside. What could you recommend to me? I would like to keep the price under 600-700 Swiss francs. Thanks a lot LG DJJK

External connections from servers, HDMI, VGA, ...?

I would like to buy a server, but I am a little confused by the fact that most of them do not state under external connections whether there is a connection for a monitor. Can anyone help me in this regard? Thanks a lot

    Teamspeak Minecraft CS:GO ARK Server

I plan to buy a server for each of the above applications. Does anyone have a recommendation which of the servers offered on Digitec/Galaxus I should take or what I should look out for. Should I consider building the servers myself? If so, what do I need? What else do I need for the servers? The price does not play a big role. Thanks for the help!
