I also bought the part and put it out of service after 2 days, unusable, sorry, I'm a fan of Digitec and actually also APC, but I didn't even have the part treated as a warranty case and a normal computer simply has to run with the output power, unless it's a gamer machine with powerful graphics cards.

Hello Geneviève How do your neighbours solve it? This UPS is "line-interactive" and will not solve your problem in my opinion - it would need "galvanic" isolation, i.e. an online UPS, and that is expensive. I would tend towards a small generator (inverter) that works on the terrace or a small solar balcony power station, so also look at solutions with a power station and solar panels (e.g. those from Anker). There are also "real" voltage stabilisers (Qoltec Automatic Voltage Stabilizer AVR 500VA - 32725390 - here at Galaxus/Digitec) and as a basis a good power strip with over-current filter/protection and over-voltage filter/protection in front of it.

According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, the minimum power is 30W, so the UPS would not switch correctly or even switch off, as not enough power is used as soon as your NAS drops below 30W.

As a rule, the consumption of this device is only when charging the internal battery, during normal use its consumption is almost zero

Yes, every 14 days according to the manual. However - again according to the manual - the battery cannot be replaced by the user. What's more, the battery (art. Galaxus 2585396) costs barely less than a new device. That's not very logical, or environmentally friendly...

Yes, the type of product you've chosen, the APC BX500MI, is suitable for protecting your PC against voltage fluctuations and frequent power cuts. This model is a line-interactive UPS, which means that it can regulate the input voltage and provide a continuous power supply in the event of a power cut, which is ideal for IT applications.

Hello, yes it does have a USB connector, mine is actually plugged into a USB NAS Synology DS720+, so that brings me to the second answer, no need for an adapter to connect to my Synology, I simply took the original cable from the Synology transformer to power the UPS and took the cable supplied with the UPS to connect my Synology transformer to the UPS.I simply took the original cable from the Synology transformer to power the UPS and used the cable supplied with the UPS to connect my Synology transformer to the UPS.
