The result is not a strangled foot, but a highly individualised fit that is simply extremely rare. Ascent Ski touring is when you do it yourself. The F1 also contributes its article: with a shaft rotation of 62°, the ascent is not a walk to Canossa, but rather an extremely comfortable one. Oehler, Karrer and Erzähler would have loved it. The F1 is also trimmed for low weight, which gives you a further advantage on the ascent. Its stiffness, which never degenerates into clumsiness, does the rest.
