Product details

HSS Twist Drill - Maykestag DIN 340 RN 3.3 x 106 mm. This long version features a cross-section A-C, right-hand cutting edge, and a cylindrical shank. It is a precision-ground twist drill of industrial quality, designed for drilling alloyed and unalloyed steels, gray cast iron, cast iron, copper alloys, nickel silver, graphite, and sintered iron. The drill has wide flutes and a reinforced core, allowing for a drilling depth that is nearly equal to the length of the twist drill, as well as effective chip removal. It has a point angle of 118° and a blue-coated surface starting from 1.0 mm, with all dimensions from 4.0 mm featuring a special "AC" grinding. This industrial-quality drill is suitable for NC machines and offers precision through a modern grinding process, as well as break resistance thanks to CNC-controlled heat treatment.
