Universal twist drill with high elasticity, well suited for use in hand drills. It is effective for machining both alloyed and unalloyed steel. Even with larger diameters, it requires low feed pressure and offers the highest toughness with optimal cutting performance. For smaller diameters, there is a low risk of breakage due to its high elasticity. The optimized drill geometry and special ALPEN tapered grinding reduce drilling time by about one third. The tool life is extended through the use of high-quality HSS steel and a special heat treatment.
