Universal twist drill with high elasticity, well suited for use in hand drills for machining alloyed and unalloyed steel. Even with larger diameters, it requires little feed pressure and offers the highest toughness with optimum cutting performance. Smaller diameters have a low risk of breakage due to high elasticity. The optimized drill geometry and special ALPEN tapered grinding reduce drilling time by about one third. The tool life is extended by the use of high-quality HSS steel and special heat treatment.
