Hello each other My wife runs a small webshop for self-made children's clothes. She takes the product photos herself with her Canon EOS. A constant problem is the light when taking photos. For her birthday, I would like to give her suitable accessories (light box or similar), but I don't know anything about it. I'm currently in the process of setting up my own business and producing interviews, employer branding videos and various other video formats for clients. For this, I need a powerful continuous light that is dimmable and can be flexibly adapted to different filming situations. It is particularly important that it has enough power for demanding scenarios, such as in-the-window shots. A videographer recommended the Godox VL150 to me, but at 150W it seems a little too weak. At the agency, we worked with the Nanlite Forza 300B, which was usable, but still reached its limits in some situations. I am therefore looking for an even more powerful alternative. Does anyone have any recommendations for a continuous light that offers enough power for professional productions, is dimmable and is also suitable for high-contrast scenes with backlighting? I run the Instagram account for my workshop and for that I take photos of our finished furniture (sofas, armchairs etc.) Sometimes I also shoot videos.
