HDMI 2.3
The selection under AV receiver allows you to choose a device with HDMI 2.3. It's a Denon. Unfortunately this standard does not exist! This message should arrive at Digitec.

I have connected various devices to my Pioneer VSX-LX305 via HDMI cable, including SwisscomTV, AppleTV and a PS4. CEC is activated on all devices. However, when I activate one of the devices, the Pioneer VSX-LX305 also switches on (which is how it should be) but does not show me the HDMI input of the active device, but instead uses either HDMI1 or sometimes the one I last used, which is not always the exact input to which the active device is connected. As a result, the other device is also switched on. I couldn't find a setting that would have solved the problem. I can already switch off CEC and set Pass Trough to "last source", but that doesn't help either. I have not found a setting such as Automatic input. Has anyone had the same problem and perhaps found a solution themselves?

We have a Bose Wave Music System. With the FM transmitter switched off, I can no longer listen to the radio. What kind of DAB receiver do I need to buy so that I can listen to the radio again?

Please make a filter for playing audio formats from USB (and also one for the supported audio formats...)!

Hello, I can't configure the DENON amp with the karaoke mixer... TV LG OLED48C15LA TV HDMI eARC to HDMI eArc DENON TV optical PCM sound output to RCA input RINGEAR 919 mixer via converter RINGERA RCA to RCA2 Media Player DENON When I select the eARC TV output, the sound comes out very well from the speakers (JBL studio 190). When I select the Optical TV output, and DENON mediaplayer , I hear the sound through the converter's earpiece and sometimes it comes out on the speakers... when I'm singing along to the music, the DENON sound must be very loud +70 and I lower the microphone output to balance the microphone speech and TV sound. But when I switch back to the TV eArc output to DENON and then back to the optical/Mixer output, I get no sound, even though the mixer is on and Denon mediaplayer is on. And I can't get it to come back on even though the headphones indicate that the sound is coming out of the TV. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

Hello I'm not sure which direction to take regarding brand and model. Maybe someone here can help me. Requirements: Price up to approx. 1000. Channels 7.2 or more. DAB+ included. And whatever else is standard today. I was always very fond of Yamaha, unfortunately a victim of progress, otherwise a top device. Now it seems to me that Denon or Onkyo might be the better choice today. What do you think? When I filter, just 8 devices are displayed without a price limit, all within the tolerance. As the stored data is not always correct, I would like to include your expertise. For example, Denon 1700 with DAB (500.-) and 3800 without DAB (980.-)? I don't know enough about the designations. Many thanks...

Has anyone by chance already dealt with current AV receivers and their preouts? I'm currently having a hard time deciding whether to go for a NAD C 298 + Marantz NR1510 combo. My stereo / front speakers are a bit demanding (Dynaudio Contour 5.4). If anyone has any better tips for AC receivers with preout.... ?

For multi-room systems and AV receivers, it would make sense to have dts Play-Fi support as a filterable item in the specifications. This does not seem to be the case at the moment. See https://play-fi.com/

Hello Digitec I have seen that other dealers have already added the Denon AVC-X3800H to their range. Do you already know when you will include this device? Greetings

Hello all, Maybe one of you can tell me: Is an AVR that supports 4K also 3D movie capable? Is it about the amount of data or what would be the condition for an AVR to support 3D movies? Of course I googled it but somehow I might be searching wrong because all the posts regarding 3D movies and AVR I found are from >5-10 years ago. Digitec has a filter, but it only spits out 7 devices, which seems a bit strange to me. And if you search for 3D in connection with AVR, you usually get things like 3D AUDIO (Auro 3D etc.) :-/ What I read instead in a post from around 2014 (which I unfortunately can't find anymore) is that the newer AVRs can consistently handle 3D video. If that were the case, it should be listed in the specs of all AVRs...? Ah yes, the setting: Blu-Ray player (3D-capable) -> AVR -> projector (3D-capable). I hope I have formulated the question correctly and provided the necessary information. If not, sorry and please ask! Thanks in advance and a good start to the weekend!

Good morning, I am thinking of buying an AV receiver with two passive speakers for a new home cinema. I currently have a 5-year-old LCD TV, but it will be replaced in the foreseeable future. The matter of AV receivers and speakers is new to me... I currently run a PS5 and an Apple TV 4K (1st generation) at home. The topic of HDMI 2.1 is particularly confusing for me, as you hear a lot about it. The system should certainly be future-oriented, so not necessarily only HDMI 2.0. I'm thinking of the Onkyo TX-NR6100 as the receiver, the Klipsch R-820F as the speakers. Subwoofer probably not at the beginning... I don't like to spread loudspeakers around the flat or to place metre-long cables invisibly. Therefore, I don't want a 7.2.2 system. Nevertheless, I would like to keep the option open. What do you think of this combination? Is it under- or overpowered? I'd say the budget is around CHF 2,000. Many thanks and greetings

Hello Community I currently have an approx. 15 year old Pioneer VSX 520 AV-Reciever.... I am looking for a reviever to replace this... Reason for change: - Loud noises from the speakers again and again (if I take the reciever off the power for a while (pull the power cable) the humming goes away again for a while). - I haven't had a remote control for a long time and always have to switch everything on the reciever. - I want a reviever that switches on automatically when I switch on Swisscom TV. - Would like a reviever that has Bluetooth or WLAN or something so that I can listen to music on my smartphone via AppleMusic. Connected to the reciever is - Teufel Ultima 40 stereo pair of speakers - Swisscom TV (currently via optical cable) and picture directly from the Swisscom box to the TV via HDMI cable. - A record player - An X-Box I would have the possibility to connect the reciever via Lankabel because there is a WLAN Box from Swisscom next to it (maybe that is important...) I don't know much about it, so I write everything down... I will hardly connect more... and I will stay with the stereo boxes in the future as well The price should remain affordable... It doesn't have to take on audiophile proportions... I live in a flat where music can't be played mega loud... Would be very happy for tips... If there is any need for more information from my side I am happy to provide it... Thanks a lot :) Claudio

Hey guys I am looking for a successor for my Denon AVR-X1100W. The following equipment would be nice: 5.1, DAB+, Bluetooth and network. I need Toslink and at least 2x HDMI in and 1x HDMI out. Can you recommend something from the entry/medium class that doesn't cost 600-700 stutz?

I am looking for an AV reciever for my new home. However, I have the following situation, which should certainly be fulfilled When watching TV and the reciever is processing the audio signal from e.g. a Swisscom TV box, the reciever should switch automatically when a signal is received via the coaxial digital input. After the signal from the digital input is terminated, the reciever switches back again. Perhaps more simply, when a new signal arrives on any input, the reciever should always switch over. Is there a reciever that can do this? The point is that I also want to bring the door call from the intercom system to the system from my Smart Home system when someone rings outside, or other alarms/messages.

Where have all the good Pioneer AV receivers gone? Does Pioneer no longer produce anything in this area? Greetings

Why doesn't Digitec have any 8K AVR amplifiers to choose from? But there are plenty of 8K TVs on offer????

Hello all I think I'm really too stupid, so here's my question to you: I have a very "old school" cable TV connection from the local technical companies (no setup box or similar) and a beamer with HDMI connection. How do I get the TV signal to the projector? I'm going crazy, it can't be that difficult, but I can't find a converter or something similar that converts the Sat/TV cable into an HDMI signal. Can anyone give me a tip? I only want to watch an occasional match in the garden (e.g. now during the European Championship)... Thanks for your input!

Hello audiophiles, My soon to be 20 year old kit of 4 speakers and an old stereo system attached to a pc is to be replaced. I have filled my shopping basket with very limited knowledge and am now at the receiver. What do I have to look out for? I plan to buy the following items to create an acceptable home cinema/gaming experience: - Epson EH-TW7100 - Klipsch R-625FA (2x) - Klipsch R-41M (1 pair) - Klipsch R-52C Someday when I have paid off the loans I will add a woofer. :'D A) What do you think about the set up? (better tips?) B) what kind of receiver should I get for it?

Why are so few of the AV receivers on offer available at short notice or immediately?

Hello Community, A question... Is it really possible that there are currently no AVRs with built-in DAB+-C functionality, i.e. DAB+ directly via cable without the need for an adapter to push the DAB+ channels? Or do you only need this with UPC? I am not on the UPC network but on a regional cable provider. Greetings and ydsnke, Stefan... ☺️

When will AV receivers that support 8K be added to the range? An example: Denon AVR-S960H.

My AVR is getting on in years and should slowly be replaced. Which reciver would you recommend as a replacement?

Hello all I have the Denon AVR-X4300H receiver with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 speakers from Canton via cable. When I listen to music I need the Multiroom Set in the living room, now I would like to supplement this with wireless speakers which are placed in the kitchen and in the office so that I can listen to music everywhere. However, these should only be active for music with the existing speakers, e.g. when watching TV, only the 5.1.2 set will be active. What can you recommend and is it possible at all? Thank you

What is the situation with Pioneer? Are the rumours true that Pioneer will exit the AV market? I read something about insolvency... Greetings

Will you also include the above receiver in the range? Greetings
